WISE Mission and Vision
Our Mission:
The WISE (Wisdom Islamic Studies and Education) Institute is a foundation established with the aim of ensuring the correct understanding of Islam through scientific and academic studies. It operates in accordance with the legal regulations of the country in which it is located. Its studies are based on the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and other fundamental religious principles. WISE develops projects for training new experts by leveraging the knowledge and expertise of specialists and provides practical solutions to contemporary problems using modern communication tools. Additionally, WISE offers consultancy services to institutions and individuals working towards this goal and develops joint projects with them.
Our Vision:
As the WISE (Wisdom Islamic Studies and Education) Institute, our vision is to ensure a correct understanding of Islam within the framework of its extensive range of sciences and rich intellectual heritage. We aim to become a center that prepares rigorous, scientific, and academic studies to achieve this. Considering the rapid proliferation of information and the ease of access to it today, we strive to be a hub for lessons and studies focused on interpretation and methodology to reach accurate knowledge and consistent thought. Our goal is to cultivate knowledgeable and competent individuals who can address contemporary issues with wisdom and practical solutions based on the Qur'an, the Sunnah, and fundamental religious principles, and to support them in their collaborative efforts. By promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning, we aim to make significant contributions to the intellectual and spiritual development of humanity.
Our Goals:
- To produce resources for knowledge and provide consultancy on religious matters.
- To encourage and recommend the formation of study circles for Imam Hatip and theology students, thus supporting the school curriculum.
- To meet the knowledge and experience needs of individuals and organizations serving in the religious field.
- To conduct coordination activities among institutions providing religious services to members of the Hizmet Movement, contribute to the development of joint projects in the religious field, and assist in the transfer of knowledge and experience.
- To fulfill the tasks assigned by the Institute's Board of Directors based on needs.
Departments:
Education Department:
- Prepares and monitors projects and programs to develop the religious life and service principles of individuals at all levels.
- Develops practical projects for the training of those who give lectures and conversations.
- Encourages and recommends the formation of study circles in Islamic sciences for students at different levels (high school, university, master's, doctorate).
Scientific Research Department:
- Forms scientific committees in fields such as Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, and Usul. Conducts studies in these areas, organizes lectures, and produces audio, written, and visual materials.
- Conducts studies on Risale-i Nur and Fethullah Gulen Collections.
- Supports the Education Department in curriculum and document preparation.
- Prepares answers to new questions from the community. Publishes themed articles and works.
- Organizes panels and workshops. Conducts peer-reviewed journal publication activities.
- Assists in the preparation of curricula and documents for religious institutions. Provides seminars.
Media Department:
- Creates a platform where the works of each branch of science can be published in audio, visual, and written forms.
- Organizes online courses and academic discussions for theology students.
- Prepares media products. Collaborates with qualified individuals for English publications.
- Offers lessons and conversations in Islamic sciences to the general public and academic circles.
WISE Volunteers:
- Forms a scientific network worldwide through volunteers.
- Ensures that those working in religious sciences in their environment come together.
- Organizes scientific/religious nourishment programs in their areas.
- Holds regular meetings to monitor academic and scientific developments.
- Forms study circles and assists in the planning of local programs.
- Supports WISE Institute's project activities and participates in coordination meetings.
Collaborations:
Engages in project-based joint studies with related religious institutions. Prepares organizations, develops projects, and conducts research with academic and religious institutions serving similarly both domestically and internationally. Collaborates with representatives in different parts of the world on a voluntary basis.
